Statement

My work is political in as much as I am a political person, living in overtly politicized times.

It is not politically neutral, as nothing is.

It has a sick sense of humor because its topics are perverse.

For the same reason it is also grotesque and crude.

It often makes use of well-known images, precisely because they are well known.

These images are often portraits of power and its subjects, digested into the artwork, and transformed into fantasy.

This work is not a tool of political conversion.

I do not pretend that it will change the minds of those opposed to its politics.

It is simply a mixture of whimsy and expression that does not ignore the world in which it is created.
